This incident caused the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
